Meredith Salenger

Salenger has been raised and lived in Malibu. When she was a kid, she loved acting in front of loved ones and relatives. When she was eight, when her mother registered her in her first course of acting. Her first acting role was just a tiny part of an 'orphan who sings and dances' in the feature film Annie directed by John Huston. Salenger has also been featured in several commercials for television. Her first role as a lead actor was as a character in her role in the Disney production The Journey of Natty Gann which starred John Cusack and Ray Wise The film was the first US movie to win the golden award in the Moscow Film Festival. In addition, the film won her "Best actor in a drama" in the Youth in Film Awards for her portrayal of the tomboyish Natty Gann.
